Dr Nicola Ward is a Brisbane based consultant orthopaedic surgeon.  She is a fellow of the Royal Australasian College of Surgeons’ and the Australian Orthopaedic Association.  Dr Ward specialises in surgery of the lower limb including:

• hip replacements:  primary and revision
• knee replacements:  primary and revision
• sports knee injuries:  arthroscopy, meniscal repairs and ligament reconstructions
• all lower limb trauma:  including fractures to the neck of the femur (hip) and injuries to the pelvis and acetabulum (hip joint socket)

Dr Ward provides private surgical services as a Visiting Medical Officer at the Mater Private Hospital Brisbane.

She combines an attentive and approachable manner with extensive experience in delivering lower limb elective and trauma surgery to the highest standards of care.
